I am recently married. 2nd time around and hopefully will stick. Jack of all trades in the arts. Went to Montclair State for Art and Dance, loves community theatre on and off stage and currently is an advisor for Wayne Valley High School Theatre. Was actually singer of a heavy metal band for about 2 years. I hate to run but did one half marathon about 6 years ago. Never again. I work at BML-Blackbird, an all services production company, as an Executive Assistant going on 10 years now.
How familiar were you with 1776 before joining this cast?
Not at all. I had heard of the musical but never saw the show or heard any of the songs before this production. Had one of my co-workers download the soundtrack for me before showing up to my first rehearsal.
How much (or little) do you know about your colony/state?
I know it’s on the east coast and that it’s capital is Providence. I did learn more in school at some point but at my age, if you don’t use it, you lose it.
As your colony’s stance on the question of Independency is well known… let us instead pose another, highly divisive question: Pumpkin Spice- Yea or nay?
Love any baked good that is pumpkin spice. Anything else pumpkin spice flavored is tolerable.
